Circles are among the oldest geometric symbols, and commonly represent unity, wholeness and infinity. Pythagoras called the circle “monad”, the most perfect of creative forms, without beginning or end. Circles are seen as protective symbols in many cultures, they also stand for enlightenment & perfection in unity.
For me the circle has always been the most fascinating of all the forms, with its fluidity and such feminine, soft shape. I always admire its presence in architecture, and especially appreciate seeing it in nature as these two are mainly where I draw my inspiration from.
